- If you ask me, life really begins at Mach 1. If you haven't been there, you've missed one of the most profound manifestation of our existence on planet earth. Sometimes, however, life takes on such a turn that even years of gruelling training can't prepare you enough for it. Having switched from the Battlefield to the Boardroom, its an alien territory that I'm flying in. However, it wouldn't be too long before I smoothly transition over to the other side. Zephyr In The Sky is my attempt to keep a repertoire of my happenstances in life.

Well Sreeja, this thought never crossed my mind and now that you've said it, it just set me thinking. Hehehehe!
Cockpit for me has always been the place where we adjust the seat height, strap on our harness, set the altimeter to airfield elevation, start up the engine, align on the runway and with the engine screaming at full throttle, we take off.
Nobody ever taught us why its called the cockpit but I guess it dates back to the days of WW-I, sometime during the year 1914.
Never thought that it could ever get such an erotic connotation! Hehehehe!
